As if he were in a prison cell, a bored uniformed man stands next to his chair. He is obviously the museum guard. He apparently has nothing to guard, except an exhibit of bird sculptures which can be seen at an unreachable height. There is nobody there to admire them.Their sharp bills are pointed dangerously towards the ground. The narrow room is unusually decorated. A carpet in modern pop colours covers the floor. The walls are empty, except for some colourful stripes which, in prespective, and in the direction of the guard become threatening like lances. A glass roof covers the room. It is night, stars are shining, and lamps light up the white walls. Could it be a nightmare? Acryl painting on canvas 80x100cm. 2009
